Do you work with young people, 16 plus, who are interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry?
Did you know construction is a growth sector for the Cardiff Capital Region?
Did you know the construction industry is currently experiencing a skills shortage nationally?
We will be holding an event on the 28th April, 10am – 11am, for Youth Support Services to find out more information about the Onsite Construction Academy, Cardiff, and how it can support young people you work with pursue a career in the construction industry.
The Onsite Construction Academy will provide adults and young people from 16 years the opportunity to gain construction-related employment skills delivered in a combination of classroom-based and online methods, offering a fully-funded pathway into careers in the construction sector for young people who seek an alternative to the traditional college route. The scheme is run in partnership with employers, employment support partners and training providers to provide industry experience and insight and employment and apprenticeship opportunities facilitated by the Onsite Construction Academy.
