SEREN Network University Mock Interviews

On the 7th November 2017, 7 employers, through the Cardiff Commitment initiative, volunteered to support the Seren Network Cardiff Partnership at a mock interview event at City Hall. The Seren Network is an initiative funded by the Welsh Government to support the most successful students to achieve their full academic potential and access the UK’s most prestigious and selective universities.

Without such support from employers, the students would not have the opportunities to prepare for interviews at a selective university or future employment.

The purpose of a mock interview was to provide students with an opportunity to practice their interviewing skills in an environment similar to an actual interview. Employers including Eversheds Sutherland, Kier Construction, Admiral Insurance, FOR Cardiff (Cardiff Business Improvement District) and Welsh Rugby Union supported the mock interview event for the students.
